Last wednesday Lisa Ekdahl played at Katalin in Uppsala. That is the 1:st of march 2006 (2006-03-01).

So, me, Oscar and Anders went there to see her. When we first came in to Katalin it was really many women there. Probably over 70%. Most of them in the right age as well ;-).
It's probably not a bad idea to go to such concerts if you are looking for someone. :-P

In Katalin they have tables closest to the scene, so if you are smart (and rich) you should order a table and have dinner right before the concert. We didn't do that. I couldn't afford it.<br>
Lisa started off with a blast. Almost knocked me out really, in pure awe. What an attractive lady. She wore a red tight ankle high dress. It was very sexy.

She played many songs from her new album, like "Ljug f&ouml;r mig &auml;lskling" and "Hj&auml;rtat var rispat". She also played a few of her older songs, like "&ouml;ppna din d&ouml;rr" and "vem vet". It was very entertaining to listen to when she told how "&ouml;ppna din d&ouml;rr" came to be.

All in all it was a very good concert. Anders thought her scene presence was a bit lacking, but I don't think so. OK, she wasn't too active on the scene, but she don't need to I think. Its not pop music where you have to mask the bad music behind a few acrobatic moves. Its just so soft music, that too much scene activity looks odd.<br>
And she is very sensual, so I think the scene presence was very good. Her sensuality lies mostly in her voice, even thou she looks very nice.
Anders and Oscar had a few laughs at me because I seemed so mesmerized.

Anyway. It was a nice concert. Good music. And after the show we met Per (munktell) and her girlfriend, and started to talk about direct connect and ciceron. Overall a nice evening. Lisa Ekdahl is really good in my opinion. Equally good as Eva Cassidy i think.
